There haven’t been any opportunities for them to talk about their futures because they’ve all been on vacation and enjoying some rest during the off-season, and some players may need to make important decisions this week.

According to Marca, one of them is Cesar Azpilicueta, who is scheduled to meet this week with Todd Boehly and the club’s new board.

The current club captain is interested in moving to Barcelona, and Xavi wants him to do so, but according to the report, he won’t push the issue as Robert Lewandowski is doing.

 According to latest reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted his side have a problem with the amount of players they have out of action. The Blues have been affected by injury problems in recent weeks, with the west London side now having multiple players testing positive for Covid-19 within the last week.
