FINALLY! Chelsea set to announce first summer signing this week

 Numerous transfer targets have been mentioned in connection with Chelsea, but none have materialized.

Even if Chelsea supporters are eager to see the team conduct some significant business, there is still a long way to go before the transfer window closes.

A deal to sign Raheem Sterling is anticipated to be completed soon enough given the deals that are currently being worked on and the stalled Raphinha deal.

According to reports, Sterling has already listed his home for sale and is getting ready to move from Manchester City to Chelsea this summer.

According to The Mirror, Sterling is trying to sell his £4.5 million home to Liverpoolplayer Trent Alexander-Arnold as he seems to be preparing for lifebeyond Man City.

Chelsea is also very close to making a dealfor Nathan Ake, a former Blue.

Nathan Ake is reportedly a favorite of Thomas Tuchel’s from his time at Borussia Dortmund, and the coach would like for the Man City defender to rejoin Chelsea to improve the team’s defensive options.

Thomas Tuchel’s decision to recruit Ake appears to be a result of his belief that the former Chelsea defender is the most suitable successor for the late Antonio Rudiger.

The 27-year-old can fill in at left-back and midfield, as well as the left side of a back three, a role previously held by Antonio Rudiger, which makes the transaction more alluring for Thomas Tuchel.

Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake have not yet encountered any obstacles, and the deal for Sterling is anticipated to close this week.

Tuchel confirms Chelsea have a ‘Problem’ as 9 players out

 According to latest reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted his side have a problem with the amount of players they have out of action. The Blues have been affected by injury problems in recent weeks, with the west London side now having multiple players testing positive for Covid-19 within the last week.
